USDF All Breeds Program

CBHSNA SPONSORSHIP OF THE US DRESSAGE FEDERATION ALL BREEDS AWARDS PROGRAM

The Cleveland Bay Horse Society of North America (CBHSNA) is a participating member of the United States Dressage Federation’s (USDF) All Breeds Awards program.

Qualifying rules:

1.At least one horse owner must be a current CBHSNA member in good standing.

2.The program is open to all registered horses with at least 1/8 Cleveland Bay blood.

3.For leased horses, the Lessor or Owner  must be a CBHSNA member.

4.Rider/owner must fulfill all membership and fee requirements with the USDF to participate in the program.   Contact the USDF for All Breeds rules or go to http://www.usdf.org/awards/all-breeds/all-breeds.asp.

5.Riders are encouraged to keep the CHBSNA current on their records status to help prevent confusion at the end of the show year.

6.Owners/riders are encouraged to show their horse under its registered name (prefixes included).   If a horse is shown under a name other than its registered, both names including registration number must be listed in all CBHSNA correspondence.  ie.  Galli (Georgeous Galliano)  PB1400

7.Horse must be currently enrolled in at least one (1) CBHSNA Performance Awards program category.

8. When owners are registering horses with USDF list as “Cleveland Bay” to designate purebreds and “Cleveland Bay Cross” to designate partbreds.

ALWAYS DOUBLE CHECK WITH THE USDF TO VERIFY YOUR SCORES ARE BEING COUNTED FOR THE ALL BREEDS AND OTHER USDF AWARDS PROGRAM.

AWARDS

The CBHSNA offers awards in the following categories:

1. CBHSNA Horse of the Year or Open certificates from Training to Gran Prix.

2. Dressage Sport Horse Breeding or  In Hand placing categories 1st and 2nd.

3. Musical Freestyle First through Grand Prix, 1st

4. Materiale (four categories) 1st and 2nd

Every effort will be made to offer awards to all members who attain qualifying scores.  Additional categories may be awarded depending on participation level.

Articles featuring winners and participants be will published in the BayWatch and as many publications as possible.  All winners are strongly encouraged to submit a performance type photograph and short article (min. 50 words)  for publication.
